This floor plan is so unique- you will be amazed by its size the second you walk through the door and into the warm living room. But it doesn't stop there; it flows so easily into a welcoming and large eat-in kitchen, boasting a great space for entertaining without crowding. Notice the abundance of counter top space and cabinets that is rare for a condo.

Appliances (stackable washer/dryer, refrigerator, oven, microwave) and window blinds are included. What sets this unit apart is, it has 3 very nicely sized bedrooms, with 2 FULL (shower/bathtub combos) baths- all with walk in closets- and pocket doors allow you to create the "double master suite" if you need more privacy. Notice the third bedroom, if not needed, can be a great, naturally lighted and spacious office. The condo is being maintained very well, with new plumbing recently installed. Not to mention, if you like amenities besides what this interior offers, you will find a community pool, clubhouse, and fitness center for your health and convenience.

Carolina Cove community also has a playground, picnic area with grills and a basketball court, and also very convenient to downtown, I-526, Costco and Citadel Mall. This is the perfect condo for investors as well, being so close to MUSC and College of Charleston. Run, walk or bike the nearby West Ashley Greenway, which is such a great community feature. This size unit is priced very well for West Ashley and for all it offers. Don't miss this opportunity!

What the SELLER SAYS:

The thing I love about the West Ashley area of Charleston is that there's so much to do and you're a short drive from everything that Charleston has to offer. Our neighborhood Carolina Cove is really friendly, quiet and safe. You always see people walking their dogs and greeting each other. We look out for one another. There have been a few times when I've needed the help of my neighbors so I'm thankful for them. Also, our HOA president Nancy is wonderful. I've known her for 9 years. She'll talk to you while she's out walking her dog and will listen to any concerns you may have.

We love to eat at the restaurants in the Avondale area which is like the "downtown" of West Ashley. Avondale has a variety of different restaurants and bars within walking distance of each other. In fact, my husband and I met each other at Pearlz Little Oyster BarTriangle Char & Bar has wonderful Sunday brunches, we love the duck sliders at Voodoo and the pizza at Mellow MushroomAl Di La is an Italian restaurant that we like to go to for date night.

When I bought the property 9 years ago I was drawn to its location. I work Downtown so it was important for me to buy a home with an easy commute to work. We live about 2 minutes from I-526 so we have easy access to I-26. It's only 15-minute drive to the airport. We like to shop and get gas at Costco which is only 3 minutes away. Citadel Mall which has Target, Belk and Dillard's is only a 4-minute drive. If you want to steer away from the major retailers, the shops at Avondale are just 8 minutes away. Another shopping and restaurant area with more "local" stores in West Ashley is South Windermere Shopping Center which is a 10-minute drive.

The Charleston area is wonderful because there's always something to do. I'm a sixth-generation Charlestonian and have lived in Charleston my whole life. I enjoy being a tourist in my own town. The biggest problem is deciding WHAT do to because there's such a variety. We really enjoy getting out and trying new restaurants especially during Restaurant Week. Dining and shopping on King Street on 2nd Sunday is always fun. Bopping in and out of the art galleries during the occasional Art Walk makes for an enjoyable Friday night. Photographing all of the local plantations and historical sites never get old. During the summer we like to meet up with our friends on Folly Beach. There are always different events going on at certain times of the year. Spoleto Festival, Southeastern Wildlife ExpoFood and Wine Festival, The Bridge Runand Family Circle Cup are just a few of them.

A few things that I can mention are that when I bought the property I was drawn to the large open floor plan and how much square footage and bedrooms (3) that I was getting for the price, especially compared to Downtown or Mt. Pleasant. When my friends came over for the first they were shocked at how big it is inside. I love the layout of the bedrooms. My sister lived with me for several years and we had plenty of room and privacy. We even had an extra bedroom for frequent out-of-town guests.

Of course we all like different things, but we enjoy biking, kayaking and photography. Access to the West Ashley Greenway, which is a scenic hiking and biking trail, is only 1 minute away by bike! My husband and I will often jump on our bikes and ride for miles on the Greenway where we'll often run into egrets feeding in the march. We also like to go kayaking in the Kiawah River to see the dolphins and beautiful birds. Day trips to photograph other parts of the Lowcountry is something we enjoy too. Our HOA fee includes water and sewer. Our power bills with SCE&G have been pretty reasonable; however, we always see a spike (like everyone else) in February and August which are our coldest and hottest months. We have our cable and internet with Comcast and have not experienced many problems with them.
